SAMANTHA CRAIG is a creative strategist based in New York City with more than a decade of experience in the art & design industries.

In 2021, she founded JUNO Creative® as an extension of her graduate research: a multidisciplinary studio specializing in brand development rooted in theories of collective memory, intersectional museology, and art history. This approach empowers small businesses to sidestep predatory marketing tactics and build powerful, niche-specific brand positioning that deepens cultural resonance and expands social impact.

Prior to this, she worked in Drawings & Prints at the Metropolitan Museum of Art leading the department’s contribution to the Open Access Initiative, as well as researching and cataloging the permanent collection.

Sam holds a B.A. in Art History and an M.A. in Museum Studies, both from New York University. She wrote her theses on the culpability of white women in the creation and reception of 18th century Orientalist painting, and designing empathetic curatorial spaces for apathetic audiences, respectively.

Her current research interests include the weaponization of contemporary branding and artistry as agency in the global 17th century.

She is a big fan of Absurdism, International Klein Blue, and clothing for dogs.
